Edwin Morrow (DJ Edwin) (29 June 1968 – 16 March 2014) was a Brisbane, Australia, based club DJ, producer, musician and songwriter. (Edwin is in the far right of the photo. Photo courtesy of DJ Jen-E , second from left)
Edwin was a pioneer of Brisbane’s club scene in the 80s and 90s and instigated the Halloween and Adrenalin dance parties, as well as the all-female-DJs party Adrenalene. He will be remembered as a supporter of female DJs in what was a very male dominated scene at the time.
He recorded under several names including Eco Cops, Nu Guerilla and Rocket Girls, depending upon the style of dance music he was producing and who he was working with.

Edwin had four tracks in total released on Volition. Two tracks as Sexing The Cherry, “This Is A Dream” and the original version of “Steppin’ On”, were featured on the 1992 double CD and double cassette compilation “High (A Dance Compilation)”. “High” also featured his track “You On My Mind” recorded under the moniker Mister Morrow.
Sexing The Cherry’s “Steppin’ On” was later remixed and released as a single, followed by the single “Glamorous”.
