Hey Volition fans! Some huge news! I’ve been keeping mum on this for months, and I’m so happy to be able to let you know that Michael Kucyk’s Melbourne based Efficient Space record label will soon release “Volition Cuts Vol. 1”, an E.P. collection of some of Volition’s finest dancefloor moments.
The release features four brilliant tracks from Volition’s vast back catalogue:
* Sisters Underground’s Pacific street soul anthem “In The Neighbourhood” (Sisters On The Boulevarde Dub), remixed by the late Robert Racic

* Boxcar’s “Lelore” (World Dub Mix), remixed by Tony Garcia

* Sexing The Cherry’s “This Is A Dream”, originally featured on the groundbreaking collection “High: A Dance Compilation”

* Single Gun Theory’s “Fall” (Voyage To The Bottom Of The Dub), remixed by 90’s progressive house stars Stuart Crichton (Umboza) and Noko (Norman Fisher-Jones) of Apollo 440.

“Volition Cuts Vol. 1″ will be available to stream, download and on 12” vinyl from 1 August, with “In The Neighbourhood” as a single available to purchase now from Efficient Space’s Bandcamp site.
Thanks Michael, and all involved, for the effort in bringing us this amazing retrospective release honouring Volition and the memories of Andrew Penhallow, Robert Racic and Edwin Morrow!
